Put your fair in the spotlight!

Showcase your fair’s creativity, innovation, and community impact by entering the WSFA Contests for the Annual Convention. Whether it's marketing materials, special events, or outstanding fair displays, there's a category for everyone. This is a great opportunity to celebrate your fair’s hard work and gain recognition among your peers across the state.

Entry forms for the 2026 Convention are not available at this time, but you can still explore the contest categories and criteria now to help you prepare, plan ahead, and get the ideas flowing. This is a great opportunity to start thinking about how to highlight your fair’s hard work and achievements when entries open.

Fair Attendance Categories

A - Fairs under 8,000 and youth shows

B - Fairs 8,001- 22,000

C - Fairs 22,001- 40,000

D - Fairs 40,001-100,000

E - 100,001 and over.

Please Note: While attendance categories apply to many contests, not all contests are judged by fair attendance. Some contests are judged as a single overall category regardless of fair size. Please refer to the individual contest descriptions for specific judging criteria.

Eligible Entries

Only entries from the 2026 season will be accepted for the following contests:

Poster Contest
Best Marketing Campaign
Fair T-Shirt & Merch Contest
Scrapbook Contest
Best Theme Logo

For all other contests, entries from the 2025 and 2026 seasons are eligible.

Please Note: The WSFA Website Contest has been discontinued and will not be part of this year's convention contests. Thank you to all the fairs and service members who have participated in the past and showcased their outstanding websites.
