9:30 a.m. - Round Tables in the Following Groups. Each moderator will have approximately five group-specific topics to choose from that morning based upon the need of those in attendance. A. Superintendents – Still Exhibits (Moderated by Bonnie Sewell, Spokane Interstate Fair) B. Superintendents – Livestock (Moderator TBA) C. Managers (Moderated by Rich Hartzell, Spokane Interstate Fair / WSFA Director) D. Staff / Board Members (Moderated by Val Watson, Adams County Fair / WSFA Director)
9:30 a.m. to Noon - Judge's Training (Foods or Sewing – Participants will choose one)
10:15 a.m. - Break
10:30 a.m. - Above and Beyond Your Entries (Unique Contests / Activities for Exhibitors and Public) Presented by Jessie McLaughlin CFE, Spokane Interstate Fair
11:15 a.m. - Welcome to the Party…And here are the Rules! (Customer Service) Presented by Chris Holloway CFE, North Idaho Fair
Noon - Luncheon / Silent Auction
1:00 p.m. - Public Friendly Displays and Layouts Presented by The Washington State Fair Commissioners
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Judge's Training (Needlework or Crafts – Participants will choose one)
2:00 p.m. - Black and White Award Winners – Why They’re Winners Presented by Representatives from Various Fairs
2:45 p.m. Silent Auction Closes / Announcement of Winners
2:50 p.m. - Closing Remarks
Judge’s Training is being offered during the same time frame. Participants in the Judge’s Training program will be eating lunch with those attending the WSFA Super School. For Judge’s Training registration information, please contact fairexpo@spokanecounty.org. |
