This Association is a federation for mutual benefit of agricultural
fairs and youth agricultural fairs and shows held in the State
of Washington and shall be known as the Washington State Fairs
Association.
Fairs are one of Washington’s greatest tourist attractions.
Exhibitor’s premiums of $1,600,000 are returned directly
to local economies. Based on a 3 - 1 turnover, these dollars
generate in excess of five million dollars for local economies.
The Washington State Fairs Association was formed in 1940
for the sole purpose of uniting together to better show the
fruits of labor, agriculture, business and industry.
This Association is a non-profit group of fair and youth
shows. Membership is also available to Service members who
furnish entertainment, supplies, commodities and services
to fairs. |
